What is Ayurveda?
India's 5,000-year-old science of life. It says your body has a unique energy blueprint โ and working with it, not against it, is the key to health.
๐ฎ๐ณ Born in India ยท Used by 80% of Indians at home

Ayurveda believes everything is made of 5 elements โ space, air, fire, water, earth. These combine into 3 energies (Doshas) inside us: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. You have all three, but one or two usually dominate โ that's your Prakriti (natural constitution).
๐ฌ๏ธ๐ฅ๐ The Three Doshas
Wind Energy โข Movement โข Creativity
Vata is the energy of movement. It governs breathing, blood flow, your thoughts, and your nervous system. When balanced, you're creative, enthusiastic, and quick-thinking. When imbalanced, you feel anxious, irregular, and scattered.
Lean / thin frame
Cold hands & feet
Creative thinker
Irregular hunger
Light sleeper
Talks fast
๐ฉธ Cycle impact: Vata-dominant women often have irregular cycles, more cramping, anxiety before periods, and dryness. Warm, grounding foods and oil massage help greatly.
Fire Energy โข Transformation โข Metabolism
Pitta is the energy of transformation and digestion โ of food, thoughts, and emotions. When balanced, you're focused, intelligent, and motivated. When imbalanced, you feel irritable, inflamed, and overly critical.
Medium build
Warm body temp
Strong digestion
Natural leader
Prone to acne
Gets hungry on time
๐ฉธ Cycle impact: Pitta women may experience heavier flow, inflammation-based cramps, mood swings, and skin breakouts around periods. Cooling foods like coconut and fennel help.
Earth Energy โข Structure โข Nourishment
Kapha is the energy of structure, lubrication, and stability. When balanced, you're calm, nurturing, and patient. When imbalanced, you feel sluggish, heavy, and prone to weight gain and congestion.
Curvy / sturdy frame
Calm personality
Slow metabolism
Deep sleeper
Loyal & steady
Gains weight easily
๐ฉธ Cycle impact: Kapha women may have longer, heavier cycles with more water retention, breast tenderness, and low energy. Movement and light, spicy foods help activate their system.
